Replacing Tiles

Prospect Roofing remodeling process has been fine-tuned over the years to help assure you get the remodeling results you desire and that you have a great remodeling experience with us. We have even created a special client portal you can use during construction. This will facilitate communications and give you access to documents, schedules, your product selections and the like.

Once you have contacted us by phone or using the contact form on this website, one of our project managers will reach out to you to briefly discuss the project you have in mind and to schedule a complementary site visit.

During this visit, we will learn more about your remodeling goals, ideas and priorities. We then take  rough measurements, discuss project time frame, budget, your vision for the finished product, as well as any foreseeable issues (electric, plumbing, structural, zoning concerns, etc.).

We may discuss some ideas or approaches that you hadn’t thought of but might want to consider.

This meeting usually lasts about 1-2 hours. We will submit a preliminary proposal, typically within one week.

Assuming you like what we proposed, we enter the design and planning phase. During this stage, our architects, designers, and project managers work with you to finalize the design and draft more detailed construction plans and drawings.

We also work with you to select products, finishes and materials, bringing your dream home one step closer to reality.

With these detailed plans, materials and product selections we can finalize the construction contract price for your project.  Any modifications to plans and costs are then made and when you are satisfied we guarantee the price of your project.

When step two is completed, you sign the construction contract. Once this is done we pull the necessary permits, review the final production sequence, and schedule of your project with you. We will also discuss where the construction dumpster will go, if one is needed.

During demolition and construction, we take many steps to ensure that your home is protected from the construction process and dust. We also leave the construction area clean and safe when we leave for the day.

Throughout the remodel your project superintendent will spend approximately 2 hours each day at the job site. They will be directing our field staff, reviewing their progress and addressing any questions or concerns you may have.

You will also have a project manager in charge of your remodel. They will overlook the project and ensure that it progresses smoothly, on time, and within budget.

Both your superintendent and project manager working with our field team insure quality control.

As mentioned above, throughout the construction phase you will have your own project portal on our website. Using this portal you can communicate with us efficiently and when it is convenient for you when we are not onsite.  You can also track the status of your project.

Here’s a screenshot of what a homeowner portal looks like.

Toward the end of the project, we conduct a walk-through of the project with you and prepare a final punch list of any items not yet completed. We will make every effort to complete the punch list as quickly as possible.

While we “broom” clean the project area at the end of every day, at the end of the project we more thoroughly clean the project area (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, etc.) and dispose of any construction debris.

At this point the project is completed and your warranty period begins.

At this point we ask you to complete a formal project evaluation survey. This is one of the ways we learn what our clients like about how we preformed and perhaps more importantly areas where we need to do better.
